THE FIVE-DAY PROCESS

What the SSB looks at.

Stage I screening includes an intelligence (OIR) test and the Picture Perception and Description Test (PPDT). Candidates who are screened in continue to Stage II: psychology tests, group testing tasks with the GTO and a personal interview, followed by the conference.

Consistency matters. What you write, say and do across the days should describe the same person: you.

A LITTLE MORE CLARITY

SSB checklist questions

How to read your score and use it well.

What does the SSB checklist measure?

It turns your own ratings across screening (OIR and PPDT), psychology tests (TAT, WAT, SRT and SD), group tasks, the personal interview and everyday habits into a simple readiness score. It is a way to plan practice, not a test.

Can this predict my SSB recommendation?

No. Selection boards assess candidates over several days through their own procedures. The checklist only reflects how you rate yourself today, so use it to choose what to practise next.

How should I use my score?

Answer honestly, then work on your two lowest areas for the next four weeks and take the checklist again. Ask someone who has been through the SSB for feedback as well.

Are my answers saved?

No. Your answers stay in this page only. Nothing is saved or sent to Tejas.
