NDA 2027 questions

Dates, age limits, subjects and how the planner works.

When are the NDA 2027 exams?

The UPSC Annual Calendar 2027 lists NDA & NA (I) 2027 with notification on 2 December 2026, last date 22 December 2026 and the exam on 11 April 2027. NDA & NA (II) 2027 has notification on 12 May 2027, last date 1 June 2027 and the exam on 19 September 2027. UPSC can change dates, so check the official notification.

What is the age limit for NDA 2027?

The official limits appear in each notification. In 2026, NDA I required birth between 2 July 2007 and 1 July 2010, and NDA II between 1 January 2008 and 1 January 2011. Following the same pattern, NDA I 2027 is expected to cover births from 2 July 2008 to 1 July 2011, and NDA II 2027 from 1 January 2009 to 1 January 2012. These are expectations until UPSC publishes the notifications.

Can I apply while studying in Class 12?

Yes. Students appearing in the Class 12 examination can apply for NDA. Students in Class 10 or 11 must wait until they are in Class 12, which the planner takes into account.

Do I need Physics and Maths?

For the Army wing, Class 12 in any stream is accepted. For the Air Force and Naval wings, and the Naval Academy 10+2 cadet entry, Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics is required.

Is my date of birth saved?

No. The planner runs only in your browser. Your date of birth is not saved, added to the page address or sent to Tejas.

Does a "likely eligible" result guarantee eligibility?

No. The planner checks the expected age window and your class at the time of applying. Marital status, nationality, education details, medical standards and every other rule in the UPSC notification still apply.
